My Village Jhurangu (झुड़ंगू) Jhurangu is a small village located near Haldukhal in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Like Haldukhal, Jhurangu is known for its scenic beauty and traditional lifestyle, with the surrounding landscape characterized by hills, forests, and agricultural fields. It is one of the hilly villages where the larger columns of hill is located. The people are from different castes and communities. It is not a part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve but a buffer zone right opposite to Corbett National Park. it is 16 kilometers from maidavan. For wildlife lovers, the zone has a sufficient population of cheetal, sambar, Himalayan goat, bear, and tigers. On the other hand, the buffer zone is known for its beautiful natural scenery, including grasslands, and dense forests.
